Publication Design

Here are some publications I’ve made. Click on any of them to flip through them!

Fun fact: “Publication” comes from the Latin word, “Publicare” which means, “Make public.”

Travel Brochure

Our Beeutiful World is a fictional traveling company I made for my classes at Whatcom Community College. The premise is that it’s a traveling company for those who love bees and want to go on vacation  to various bee-related locations around the globe. I had to make all of the branding, a website, and this brochure. Before the project, I set a challenge for myself to use the shape of hexagons (which is actually why I chose bees) as a motif. You can view the website I made here.

NSAI Classes Booklet

For a class project at WCC, I was tasked to make a booklet for the Northwest Summer Art Institute, cataloging their classes for the 2019 summer. We were restricted to two Pantone colors, and all of the required text was provided. Before started the project, I personally challenged myself to use the form of the parallelogram throughout the design, as well as the motif of digital watercolor.

Self-Improvment is a concept I thought of for an online resource for learning how to do improv. It has games, formats, and other resources! It was made originally as a class project at Whatcom Community College. At the beginning of the project, I pushed myself to use diagonal lines throughout the design, and put them them without pre-planning, so that it would reflect the chaotic and fun nature of improv comedy.
